Legal Terms and Conditions
1. Contract Formation
The specific terms, scope of work, project timeline, and total cost shall be mutually agreed upon by both parties prior to commencement of any work, as set forth in a duly signed contract. This contract constitutes the entire agreement between Professional Painting Contractor LLC (“Company”) and the Client (“Client”).
2. Scope of Work and Change Orders
The scope of work is as detailed in the signed contract and any subsequent amendments. Any changes or additions to the scope of work (“Change Orders”) may result in additional fees and/or adjustments to the project schedule. Such changes shall be documented in writing and approved by both parties.
3. Payment Terms
Payment methods accepted include cash, check, and direct deposit. Payment terms, including deposits, progress payments, and final payment, shall be outlined and agreed upon in the signed contract. Client agrees to adhere to the payment schedule as specified.
4. Travel and Lodging Fees
For projects requiring travel beyond the Company’s primary service area, travel fees will be incorporated into the contract price. Should the project extend beyond the anticipated completion date, additional lodging fees may apply and will be agreed upon in writing.
5. Project Scheduling and Delays
The Company will make commercially reasonable efforts to adhere to the agreed project timeline. However, unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to weather conditions, supply delays, or other force majeure events, may impact scheduling. Client shall be notified promptly of any material changes.
6. Site Preparation and Access
Client is responsible for ensuring the worksite is accessible and free of obstructions prior to the commencement of work. All vehicles must be removed from the property to prevent overspray damage. Client acknowledges and agrees to this requirement.
7. Animals on Property
All animals must be restrained during work hours to ensure safety. Client shall be held responsible for any injury or damage caused by animals that are not properly restrained. The Company shall not be liable for damages or delays resulting from unrestrained animals interfering with the project.
8. Warranty and Project Completion
A warranty outlining the scope and duration of coverage will be included with each proposal and contract. The warranty will become effective only upon project completion and full payment. For detailed information, please refer to the Warranty page on our website. Upon payment, Client legally acknowledges satisfaction and acceptance of completed work; this acknowledgment is irrevocable.
9. Limitation of Liability
Professional Painting Contractor LLC shall not be liable for damages arising from conditions beyond its control, including but not limited to acts of God, client negligence, or unforeseen site conditions. This limitation is further detailed within the warranty agreement signed upon contract execution. By engaging the Company’s services and/or accessing this website, Client agrees to these terms.
10. Privacy
Client information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, accessible via this website. For inquiries, contact us at (434) 515-4001 or [email protected].
11. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia without regard to its conflicts of law principles.
12. Entire Agreement
This document, together with the signed contract and any addenda, constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior understandings.
13. Termination
Either party may terminate this Agreement upon written notice if the other party materially breaches any provision of this Agreement and fails to cure such breach within a reasonable period following receipt of written notice specifying the breach.
Upon termination, Client shall pay the Company for all work performed and materials supplied up to the effective date of termination.
In addition, if Client fails to make payments as stipulated under this Agreement, the Company reserves the unequivocal right to suspend or cease all work and services without liability or penalty. Such suspension shall remain in effect until all outstanding payments, including any accrued late fees or costs, are remitted in full. Suspension or termination of work pursuant to non-payment shall not relieve Client of their obligation to compensate the Company for all work performed and materials supplied up to the date of suspension or termination. The Company expressly reserves all remedies available at law or equity to recover any unpaid amounts.
14. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website and/or signing a contract with Professional Painting Contractor LLC, Client acknowledges and agrees to all Terms and Conditions herein, which are legally binding.

Plain Language Terms and Conditions — What You Need to Know
1. Agreement Before Work Starts
Before we begin, we’ll agree together on the details of the job, price, and schedule. We’ll both sign a contract to make sure everything is clear.
2. What’s Included and Changes
The work we do will be what’s written in the contract. If you want to change anything after we start, it might cost more or take longer. We’ll put all changes in writing.
3. Payment
You can pay by cash, check, or direct deposit. Payment details like deposits and final payment will be in the contract. We both agree on these when signing.
4. Travel and Lodging Costs
If the job requires us to travel far, travel fees will be included in your price. If the job takes longer than expected, extra lodging costs might apply.
5. Timing
We’ll try our best to finish on time. Sometimes things outside our control, like weather or delays in supplies, can affect the schedule. We’ll keep you updated.
6. Getting Ready for Work
Please clear the work area and remove any vehicles so they won’t get paint on them. This helps us keep your property safe.
7. Pets and Animals
If you have pets, please keep them restrained during the work. You’re responsible if they cause any damage or injury or interfere with the work.
8. Warranty and Approval
We’ll give you a warranty (a guarantee) with each job. This warranty starts only after the work is done and fully paid for. When you pay, it means you’re happy with the work — and that can’t be changed later.
9. Limits on Our Responsibility
We aren’t responsible for damage caused by things outside of our control, like bad weather or things you do that cause damage. This is explained more in the warranty and contract.
10. Privacy
We keep your information safe and follow privacy laws. If you want to know more, check our Privacy Policy or contact us.
11. Rules and Laws
Our agreement follows the laws of Virginia.
12. Whole Agreement
This contract and these terms are the full agreement between us.
13. Ending the Agreement
If either of us breaks the agreement, we can end it after giving notice and time to fix the problem. You’ll pay for all work done up to then.
If you don’t pay us as agreed, we can stop work without penalty. But you still owe us for work already done.
14. Agreement to These Terms
By using our website or signing a contract with us, you agree to all these terms. They are legally binding.
