Despite being offered many advertising claims , worth tens of thousands of dollars, we believe the best referrals come from word of mouth from our happy customers. Since 1993 we have not advertised. We believe this is why we have such strong trust from the community.

It didn’t seem credible or honest to pay people to say good things about us and we refuse to dishonestly promote ourselves in order to profit. We will not jeopardize our reputation and credibility for money Our client relationships and public trust are far too valuable to compromise that when we can earn it honestly instead. During the 80s Jack Dalton worked for other painting contractors where he learned the ins and outs of every type of job and how to do them properly. He got a decade of experience under his belt and then went out on his own to create Professional Painting Contractor LLC after falling in love with the trade and wanting to provide his own services
• Professional Painting Contractor started in the early 90s with Jack Dalton working on historical houses. It all began with one house and Jack painting out of the back of a station wagon By himself. His company began in 1990 but didn’t become official until 1993. We became an LLC later on.
Word-of-mouth spread, and Jack was in high demand, with a lot of the historical houses in that area asking for Jack’s services. and Because of this, Jack became very efficient when painting, as people were waiting for his services. As he continued to make his name known as a trustworthy ,efficient, and honest Painter always looking to go above and beyond, he began getting offers to bid larger, commercial projects. He began getting offers to bid apartment complexes locally. He was awarded the bid and began painting for different construction groups, painting apartment complexes from the ground up. He was awarded several stages, and several apartment complexes. During this time, he saw the need to expand into pressure washing services.He continued learning and offering more services, as he continued to see the need for them.
Jack received training and became educated on how to apply roof coatings, and expanded his business to also specialize in roof coatings. During this time, Jack Was also completing residential, historical, and commercial projects locally. He could not do this alone, and eventually had over 20 employees helping him.
After he made his name known as being a successful commercial painter and roof coater, Jack Dalton began getting offers to bid Jobs across America, specifically chains of retail stores like Levi and chains of coffee stores like Pete’s coffee and tea, as well as many more. after spending a few years traveling cross-country Painting , and with a reputation of being able to handle extremely high volume production jobs like brand new apartment complexes, he began getting offers to bid hotels. Initially the hotel bid offers were local, and after missing being away from home for so long, he bid the local jobs and got them.
Jack then met his wife who comes from multiple generations of painters. From the beginning they made a great team. The hotel contracting company wanted more, and Jack and Caitlin began completing hotels all along the East Coast for this company. In doing so, they Downsized to just a few people helping them.
While COVID-19 coronavirus still threatens America and the future is unclear, we are not exactly sure at this time what the future holds for our company. We hate suppressing our companies growth, but are willing to continue to do so for the well-being of others. We have done everything in our power to ensure the safety of all of our customers, workers and to promote safety on the job site. both owners and the whole team is fully vaccinated and we are all trained on coronavirus safety. We may get back into hospitality painting, but as long as COVID-19 threatens everyone, we will do what is needed to prevent the spread and keep everybody safe. So In the meantime, we have taken on some local apartment complexes doing repaints, where we are the only people on the job, where we are able to socially distance while working, and where the air conditioning allows us to remain masked throughout the whole shift even in the summer. We have also taken on many exterior jobs since the cdc has proven coronavirus is less transmissible outside.
After many serious health problems, almost losing her, and years of surgery and therapy, owner Caitlin Dalton is back working for Professional Painting Contractor LLC.
Despite coronavirus and changes in the economy, professional painting contractor has continued to grow acquiring more employees and creating new affiliations.
After being in business for 30 years we are very excited to announce we now have multiple locations in America! We are looking forward to all of our years to come and where our story goes from here. We hope you’ll be a part of it!
